Join the many voices sharing their support now for defeating meningitis
On 28th September, the Global Roadmap to Defeat Meningitis will be launched by the World Health Organization (WHO). For the first time, countries will unite behind a global effort to defeat meningitis and provide meaningful aftercare to survivors and their families.
The launch provides an opportunity for your voice to be heard by global leaders at this once in a lifetime Roadmap launch. We need to show them how much people want to see meningitis defeated – the more voices we get the stronger the call to action.
Use the form to submit your message that celebrated the launch of the roadmap. This could be a photo, video, or even an audio file if you’d like. This will then be added to our gallery of support which will be shown at the Roadmap launch, for all to see, as proof of public support for the Roadmap. This will encourage global leaders to take action and help defeat meningitis.
Your voice deserves to be heard. Be part of history and show your support for the WHO Global Roadmap to Defeat Meningitis.

"I represent Mehmet Gençel, the member of CoMO in Istanbul, Turkey. Description of the painting: Sometimes solutions are very close and we just need a pair of hands to lead us to them. It is possible to reach the light from darkness with the right treatment."
This drawing is prepared by Berkan who is one of our collegue. Its represeanting that Meningitis is a monster that wants to kill the kids but Meningitis Fighters/ Organisations can rescue with vaccines. Hope it can give the correct message . Thanks. Mehmet GENCEL ( Meningitis Info Center - Turkey)
Ms Koguchi is a mother of a girl who recovered from bacterial meningitis. She is a copper engraver. And this work has imaged a child fighting against meningitis.
Kudos to World Health Organization and every other stakeholders that have made it possible achieving the "Roadmap to Defeat Meningitis by 2030. Nobody deserve to go through the plights and trauma of meningitis and it's aftermath.
“Nobody deserves the trauma associated with meningitis’ Having lost her limbs to meningitis as a teenager, poor Favour; finds it so difficult to fully support her children in their daily chores and as a single mother. She feels so bad looking at her teenage daughter assuming the roles of a mother. In view of this, Favour wants meningitis defeated, so that no one else would go through the traumatic experiences which she has undergone and still going through.
