Join the many voices sharing their support now for defeating meningitis
On 28th September, the Global Roadmap to Defeat Meningitis will be launched by the World Health Organization (WHO). For the first time, countries will unite behind a global effort to defeat meningitis and provide meaningful aftercare to survivors and their families.
The launch provides an opportunity for your voice to be heard by global leaders at this once in a lifetime Roadmap launch. We need to show them how much people want to see meningitis defeated – the more voices we get the stronger the call to action.
Use the form to submit your message that celebrated the launch of the roadmap. This could be a photo, video, or even an audio file if you’d like. This will then be added to our gallery of support which will be shown at the Roadmap launch, for all to see, as proof of public support for the Roadmap. This will encourage global leaders to take action and help defeat meningitis.
Your voice deserves to be heard. Be part of history and show your support for the WHO Global Roadmap to Defeat Meningitis.

September 2020, it was my birthday month. It’s pandemic. I worry about the covid virus. It’s the most painful month. Followed my instinct and dependent with the Lord’s guidance. I got treated at the nick of time through God’s grace. I was very scared for my 2 kids. I’m very thankful for the second chance in life. It was a life threatening experience. Thank you Lord for not leaving my side. ❤️
Our little boy would not be here if the awareness for Meningitis and Sepsis was not raised by charities like Meningitis Research. We are thankful every day that the ambulance, Doctors and Nurses knew how poorly our son was and got him the treatment he needed so quickly to keep him with us. This research is vital to save lives, thank for saving our Bradley
In loving memory of my gorgeous son John Evans who sadly passsd 24th January 2004 aged 19 years from meningitis. Always loved never forgotten
I can't even articulate how vital it is for meningitis to be defeated. My brother was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis when he was 8 , it was a traumatic time especially since it was during lockdown, I couldn't even see him. He has since been blessed and on his way to making a full recovery, but I know that many die or have life long disabilities. I never want anyone, victim or someone who knows the victim to go through this, I hate it , i hate the disease and everything that comes with it . You will never truly understand unless you have been through it. We need to defeat Meningitis.
This is my husband Neil who died of meningococcal septicemia in February this year. Meningitis devastates families as it has mine. I support the road map to defeating Meningitis.
